Over the past four years of being in business, we have met so many incredible people that we’ve created bonds and connections. But we’ve also done some fantastic work, and we’ve grown so much over the past four years. As we’ve grown over the years, so have the skills and services that we offer our clients, so in return for our growth, it also comes with pricing and policy changes that we have had since day one.
When we first started True Essence Photography, we didn’t have a complete understanding of photography, let alone videography. We still took a leap of faith, along with our clients, that’s supported us from the start. But in business and or something that you love, you want it to at some point grow into something extraordinary. Something that maybe you could even teach or inspire someone else to also pursue their dreams.

Currently, we’ve changed the majority of our pricing for new clients, and they’re already experiencing the changes. Still, we’ve also changed the pricing and structure of all of our current clients. There’s no need to be alarmed if you’ve already paid your deposit for your session or wedding. There will be no changes to your current pricing if you’ve only picked the coverage option for your wedding for some reason. But you haven’t had a chance to select your add-ons. The pricing for the add-ons will change the day after your wedding.
Suppose you’re thinking about adding more services or different add-ons for your commercial, event, or wedding. Please do so before February 1st, 2022, when all-new pricing will take effect. Below we’ve listed a few examples that may help you understand exactly where we are coming from with this.
You’ve booked your wedding and paid your deposit on July 14th, 2021, and your wedding date is September 7th, 2022. You’ve chosen your addons when you originally booked your wedding on July 14th, 2021, and you’ve picked the following.
Now we’re at the present day (September 7th, 2022), you’ve stated that you don’t want to add anything currently, and we recently had a pricing change on March 12th, 2022, but since you’ve already paid your deposit, this doesn’t affect you. UNTIL September 8th, 2022, the day after your wedding. Now anything that you would want to add extra would be according to the new pricing. Whereas the coverage film you now wish to 2 months after your wedding day is now $500 more than it originally was when you first booked.
You’ve booked your wedding for March 12th, 2020, and your wedding date originally was on December 7th, 2020. Due to covid, your wedding has been postponed to December 12th, 2023. You’ve only chosen the following packages.
You haven’t picked any addons, and you’ve chosen not to pick any until after the wedding has already ended. Your current pricing for the full-day wedding coverage has not changed as you’ve locked in the pricing at booking. Between the past two years of waiting for everything to open back up due to covid, our pricing has changed by almost double. On January 3rd, 2024, you then contact us to purchase the Unlimited Images Wedding Package and the Full Coverage Wedding Package. So now that you didn’t pick any addons for your wedding at the time of booking and or before your wedding date, you have to pay the new pricing that we currently offer.
You didn’t pay a deposit because of the old pricing when you first inquired. Or you either were shopping around for a photographer or videographer for your wedding. You would have to go based on the new pricing that we now have.
