Weddings
Photography starts at $1,000You’ve put a lot into this day. I want you to enjoy the people you brought together and still get the photographs you hoped for. We’ll talk through the timeline, family photos, portraits, and the moments you want covered before the day arrives.
There are shorter and full-day coverage options, with photography, videography, and combined coverage to discuss. We’ll put the start and finish times, final gallery, and any film deliverables in your proposal. Full-day coverage means the schedule we agree on together.
Ask about engagement sessions, documentary wedding films, and Essence Confessions. We’ll make it clear which options are included in your chosen coverage and which are additions.
Portraits & Family Sessions
Starting at $150Updated portraits, a birthday, or family photos you’ve been meaning to take for a while. We’ll choose a studio or on-location session and work through the look you have in mind. I’ll help with posing, give the kids time to settle in, and keep things moving without making it feel like a chore.
Session options include 3–15 edited images, depending on the package you choose. Your exact image count is confirmed before booking. Outfit changes and different poses fit within the session time we agree on.
There’s no separate count for every pose we try. We’ll use the time to find what works, then focus on the images you want to keep.
Graduation Sessions
Starting at $100You earned the degree. You can put the textbooks down for this part. Bring the cap, gown, stole, and anything else that belongs in the photographs. We can plan a studio session or head to a location that means something to you.
Graduation options include 3–15 edited images, depending on the package. We’ll confirm your image count, locations, session time, and outfit plans before you book.
Want campus photographs, a few dressed-up portraits, or something with your family? Mention it while we’re planning so we can choose an option with enough room for it.
Events & Celebrations
Starting at $200 · Hourly coverageWhile you’re greeting guests or keeping the event running, I’ll be watching the room. We’ll plan around the speeches, performances, group photographs, and other moments you need, with time for the reactions and conversations happening around them.
Event photography is quoted around the hours and coverage required. Delivered photographs are shared through a gallery link. There is no fixed image count for event coverage. The finished selection depends on the length and activity of your event, rather than every frame taken.
Photo and video options can be discussed together. Drone coverage depends on the location, permissions, weather, and the plan for your event.
Headshots, Branding & Commercial Work
Headshots start at $150 · Commercial projects quoted individuallyA new headshot, photographs of your team, a product launch, or a film that explains what your company does. Tell me where the work will be used and what you need it to do. That helps us build a shot list that makes sense for your business.
Headshot options start at $150 with three retouched images, in the studio or on location. For teams, branding sessions, conferences, interviews, and promotional content, we’ll quote the project around the people involved, production time, usage, and final deliverables.
We can discuss photographs, video, or both. Your proposal will spell out what we’re creating and what you’ll receive.
Essence Confessions
Cocktail hour confessionals, with your peopleGive your guests a little time in front of the camera and you may hear things you would have missed at the reception. Essence Confessions is our take on cocktail hour confessionals: a chance for your guests to leave messages, marriage advice, and stories for you on video during cocktail hour.
Some people get sentimental. Some think they should have their own show. Both can be worth keeping.
Ask about adding Essence Confessions to your wedding coverage. We’ll talk through the setup, when guests can take part, the price, and how their messages will be delivered. It’s a way to keep their voices alongside the photographs.

Questions Before You Book
A few details that are worth knowing before you choose your coverage.
01How many photographs will I receive?
Portrait, family, and graduation options include 3–15 edited images, depending on the package. Headshot options start with three retouched images. Wedding and event galleries have no fixed image count, and the final selection depends on the coverage and what happens during it. Your proposal confirms the deliverables for your booking.
02Does “unlimited images” mean every photograph taken?
It means wedding and event coverage does not have a fixed delivery cap. The delivered gallery is an edited selection, rather than every frame taken. For sessions with a set image allowance, we’ll confirm that allowance and any extra-image options before booking.
03What does full-day wedding coverage include?
We’ll review your timeline and agree on the coverage for your day, including the start and finish times and the moments you want photographed or filmed. The full-day option and its scope will be written into your proposal. It is separate from shorter coverage options.
04How do outfit changes and poses work?
We can try different outfits and poses during your session without counting each pose as a separate item. Changes still need to fit within your booked time. Share your outfit and location ideas beforehand so we can choose an option that gives us enough time.
05Is video included in the photography price?
Photography and film options vary by service. We’ll confirm whether you’re booking photography, video, or a combination, along with the specific films and photographs you’ll receive. The starting photography price does not describe every possible photo and video combination.
06Do you travel outside Greenville?
Yes. True Essence is based in Greenville, North Carolina, and travels nationwide. Send your location with your inquiry so we can discuss travel arrangements and include any related costs in your quote.
07Can we add Essence Confessions?
Yes, ask about Essence Confessions when we discuss your wedding coverage. These cocktail hour confessionals give your guests a chance to leave video messages during cocktail hour. We’ll go over the setup, timing, pricing, and how the finished messages will be delivered.
